Feline Lower Urinary
Tract Disease

What to Look For:

Straining to eliminate without producing anything; frequent litterbox trips or using inappropriate places to do their business; blood in the urine. If your cat is exhibiting these signs, call us right away.

Before You Call:

The following information will be helpful for our staff to know: has there been a recent change in diet, environment, people present, or other animals? These can be triggers for stress in cats leading to urinary blockages.

Please note that if you suspect your cat is constipated, it could very well be that they cannot urinate. Please have them assessed ASAP as the misjudgement could be fatal.

Call us at 416-784-4444 or visit the emergency clinic 24 hours a day.
